Our Story

Armsworthy Acupuncture and Wellness began as a private practice with Sarena Armsworthy. After many years of working in other clinics in the Edmonton area, Sarena decided in October of 2019 to open up a single-room practice offering Acupuncture. In March of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic closure put the private practice on hold and during that time, Sarena observed the impact of the pandemic on patients that weren't able to access other therapies such as Acupuncture and massage. When the province allowed the reopening of Acupuncture, Sarena reopened her practice with a goal in mind to add additional therapies to her practice, which included massage therapy and Reiki.

In 2021, the need to expand the practice from a single-room to a multipractice clinic was evident and Sarena started to put plans in motion. Sarena, Nicholas and William developed a business partnership. The three clinic owners have been friends for over a decade and have the same common goal for their practice; creating lasting results with a whole health approach to the Mind, Body, and Spirit.

Sarena has many years of experience with Western medical health sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture. William is a Registered Massage Therapist. And, Nicholas is a certified martial arts instructor with over 20 years of experience.

In July 2022, the clinic opened it's doors to the public providing Acupuncture, Massage therapy, and Reiki services; continuing to add other therapies to benefit the patient wellness experience.
